How to get to MIECC from Serdang KTM Station?

There is a really big event, happening right now at MIECC !

YES ! IT'S THE BIG BAD WOLF BOOK SALE!!

I went there twice. The first time was with my friend. We drove there and the traffic was really bad. It was so jammed that I decided on my next visit, I'll opt for public transport. By way of information, the parking cost RM2.00 per entry. So it was reasonable when you compare with the one at KLCC.

Well, back to the topic. BBW actually did a rather good job in telling people how to get to Serdang KTM. But unfortunately, to my disappointment,  BBW made no effort in directing people from the Serdang KTM to MIECC. Maybe they have assumed everyone knows how to get there. Or maybe they thought people would come by taxi. They have this mobile apps where you can claim RM10  book voucher if you use the apps to get a taxi to the MIECC.

So, for those who prefer to walk there, be ready to walk about 15 minutes.

Right, now you have exited the Serdang KTM station. You will see a four-lanes highway (I didn't count, maybe it's a six-lanes highway, either way, it is just IMPOSSIBLE for you to jaywalking) right in front of you. So, you would need to walk up the pedestrian bridge. When you are at the top, you will see railway roads, it is the KTM station that you have just left. So, turn right, and keep walking. When you are finally on the other side of the road, you will see people waiting for either bus or taxis. So, turn your back and you will see shoplots. There is a 7-eleven, a hotel and others. So, walk towards that direction until you come to a T-junction. At this point, you would probably be quite confused and slightly worried. Hey, it's okay, you are on the right track. You will see a condominium in front of you and walk towards it. There are some shops on the ground floor of the condominium. All that you need to do is walk towards the left of the condominium. There is a hallway and you will see a tunnel. On the right of the tunnel is a man-made river. You can choose to walk to pedestrian walkway or just cross the tunnel.

Right, you are now at the Mines Shopping Mall. Look for elevator and go up to the third floor. Look for F.O.S. , Factory Outlet Store. Ask people if you can't find it. Right, now you see a signpost, telling you this is the link bridge to MIECC. So, from now on, you are safe, you are about there. Just some staircases and a couple of minutes walk before you reach the world's biggest book sale.

On a separate note, for whoever that actually google to find out how to get to MIECC from Serdang KTM, my guess is you are either a well-prepared person that loves doing research beforehand or you simply do not like asking people for direction. My last advice to you is, PLEASE ASK, PEOPLE DON'T BITE !
